Ballarat International Foto Biennale

As Director of GMC Art Projects, Georgia was involved as a curator in the development of four headline projects at the 10th Ballarat International Foto Biennale (26 August to 22 October 2023), staged under the theme "The Real Thing." She contributed to the idea for Lisa Roet's monumental inflatable Golden Monkey clings to the facade of the future National Centre for Photography, and for Instant Warholat the Art Gallery of Ballarat, which presented 59 rare Polaroid portraits from The Brant Foundation. She was equally engaged with the festival's examination of image-making in the age of NFTs and artificial intelligence, through the Peculiar International AI Prize and Serwah Attafuah and Jonathan Zawada's Digital Anthropocene. Georgia also contributed to the fundraising strategy for the Biennale, supporting the program as a whole.
